As every year, ADMEC conducted the majestic Poster Design Competition 2018 to provide the students an opportunity for exhibiting their skills. The competition held from 12^th– 24^th October 2018. The whole competition was divided into 3 rounds, and it was held between 6 teams. ADMEC’s expert mentors were guiding the 6 teams.

Objective of the Poster Design Competition 2018

• Such competitions offer possibilities to individuals for rejuvenating their various point of views on exactly how layout teams from multiple disciplines come close to a usual layout subject offered to them.
• They give an opportunity for trainees coming from numerous backgrounds (web, graphics, computer animation, postproduction, and so on) to take part in PDC and also show their issue resolving as well as creating abilities versus their peers.
• Offer PDC participants with a possibility to satisfy future style prospects in their area as well as offer competitors individuals with a good deal of excitement to ensure that they could design their poster artistically.

Poster Submission Guidelines:

• All submitted work must be original, innovative, and unpublished. It is mandatory to submit the original work. Copied or plagiarized work from other artists is not allowed.
• The main objective of the poster design is to present the topic with an extraordinary impact on the viewers.

Judging Criteria for Poster Design

• Submitted posters will be assessed based on appeal and marketability.
• On the basis of the concept, originality, design, visual excellence, and content.

Poster Design Competition Teams

There were total 6 teams which were further divided into 2 groups in the competition:

• Group A: Team A, B, and C
• Group B: Team D, E, and F

Poster Design Competition Rounds

There were three main rounds in the competition

Round 1 Details

• Round 1 was conducted on 12th and 13th October 2018
• Group A performed on 12^th October, and their topic was “Triple ”
• Group B performed on 13^th October, and their topic was “Gender ”
• 2 teams from both groups were eliminated from the competition in Round 1
• Eliminated teams: Group A: Team B and Group B: Team F

Round 2 Details

• Round 2 was conducted on 20th October 2018
• Group A topic was Delhi Tourism- Enjoy Delhi’s Winter
• Group B topic was Poster on Secret Superstar Movie
• Again 2 teams from both groups were eliminated from the competition in Round 2
• Eliminated teams: Group A: Team C and Group B: Team E

Final Round Details

• Final Round was conducted on 24th October 2018
• The topic given was Celebrate Safe Diwali – Cracker Free Diwali
• The first time a twist was introduced in the competition, the eliminated teams were merged, and a new team was created Team G
• The final round was held between 3 teams Group A: Team A, Group B: Team D, and, Wild Card Entry: Team G
• Group A Mentor was Anuradha Mam, Group B Mentor was Nishu Sir, and Team G mentor was Deepak sir.

Winning Teams

• Competition result was announced on 6^th Nov 2018
  • Final winner: Team D from Group B
  • 1^st runner up: Team G
  • 2^nd Runner up: Team A
• 3 students from Team A, D and G are awarded as Most creative students of the competition
  • Team A: Urvashi
  • Team D: Abhishek
  • Team G: Ritika
• Trophies, Certificates, and 2100/- were given to the Winning Team D
• Participation Certificates and Rs 1100/- were given to the Runner up Teams
