Star of the Year Awards 2023

With the conclusion of 2023, the spotlight shone on the top-performing students who earned the prestigious title of Star of the Year (SOY) at ADMEC. The award ceremony featured various accolades, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the Star of the Year award, as well as titles such as Born to Code and Born to Design. As part of the recognition, all SOY nominees received ADMEC institute bags and t-shirts.

Why Star of the Year Awards?

The SOY awards aim to celebrate the efforts, performances, and hard work of students throughout the year. These awards boost their morale, encouraging them to continue learning and improving. SOY is a vital component of our events and awards series, where ADMEC takes the initiative to foster a healthy competitive learning environment, enabling students to advance with the spirit of showcasing their skills and learning at a high pace. 

Judging Criteria of SOY

Nominees were evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Number of times the student was nominated for the Star of the Month awards
• Number of times the student received the title of Star of the Month
• Participation in quizzes and competitions
• Performance in commercial art sessions
• Attendance in outdoor sessions
• Performance in canvas and digital painting sessions
• Participation in industrial visits
• Personality and attitude

The SOY 2023 awards featured 15 nominees from different courses.

After a detailed discussion and evaluation, the top 5 students were selected. 

Out of 5 students, we have taken out the two for the 4th and 5th rank.

Here’s the result

• 5th rank goes to Aarti (Course: Graphic Master)
• 4th rank goes to Palak (Course: Graphic Master Plus)

Now it’s time for the final results.

Other Acknowledgments: Born to Design and Born to Code Titles

Born to Design Title

This title is awarded to Diya, a student pursuing architecture and interior design at ADMEC. While she didn’t secure the SOY, her outstanding design efforts were acknowledged.

Born to Code Title

This title is bestowed upon our coding students, Aman and Yash, for their remarkable performance in website development projects.

The award ceremony concluded with a blend of memories from 2023, leaving students with smiling faces, cheers, songs, and dances as they welcomed the new year.
