Hi design enthusiasts!
I am Urvashi Jain and currently working as a UI-UX designer in a product-based company.
Before jumping into my story at ADMEC, I want you to tell something about who I was before joining ADMEC.
So I was an engineering student, who was just good at hand drawing and had an inclination towards art and craft. I also realized that coding is not my cup of tea and was figuring out some other options and came to know about design courses at ADMEC.
Then the magic happened!
At ADMEC – I realized that the design field is so vast, there is so much to do and explore. Ravi sir’s special workshops and Promila mam’s sketching classes played a big part in my design journey, they just not polished my skills but actually developed my deep interest in design.
Also, the institute is so design-oriented – offline competitions, photography, live drawing sessions, projects for the portfolio – all these things not just helped me in building up my profile but also improved my personality holistically. They were so insightful and fun to do, I always used to wait for these extras sessions to be arranged.
I will also be grateful to other faculty members especially Deepak sir and Nishu sir who guided me as a mentor apart from teaching the software applications.
ADMEC provided me with a platform and acted as the first stair of my design journey.
