Pre-requisite to join this course:

Learning outcomes Dur: 12 Months

This semester is completely emphasized on web fundamentals, web graphics, and various web technologies which are necessary to design and develop a website. You will learn basics of web designing including World Wide Web, various protocols, internet, contemporary technologies for web designing, and many web case studies during this semester.

Apart from theoretical topics we will also focus on all practical aspects that are necessary to design websites using leading computer applications i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash, and Dreamweaver etc. This will develop the skills and knowledge for 'front-end' online publishing. You will gain knowledge of screen based communication and work flows in various industry applications too. The program will cover web design basics, interface designing, graphics optimizations, rich internet application creations, and online branding etc.

We have divided this semester in two modules:

Modules

In this module, you will be taught about web fundamentals, web technologies and web design industry. It will help you in exploring your interest and you will be gaining knowledge which is necessary for the forthcoming topics in this module.

Here, we will discuss about web graphics, it is very useful for creating stunning user interface designs. We know very well that without having a sound knowledge about the basics of design, one can't create professional user interface for the websites. So, geometric design order is a necessary element to know. It explores creative applications for a geometrical approach to page composition.

We will also look at some popular classic proportional systems i.e. Golden Section, Golden Spiral, Fibonacci sequence, Root 2 Rectangle, and the Rule of Third. Lines, curves, circles, angles, bars, squares, and patterns are very important part of this module. Production houses and media companies always look for the candidate who can create design with the sense, so we also concentrate on the Importance of Balance, Negative Space, and Strong Focal Points.

Now the real show starts with the leading web technologies. This semester will reveal all possible technologies that help in creating HTML5 and Flash based websites. We will focus on various topics including Flash, ActionScript 3, XML, HTML5, XHTML, CSS3, Dreamweaver, JavaScript, DHTML, HTML5 DOM etc.

We do not only teach you how to create a website but also will also train you as how to create a professional web portal. We will tell you how to create a completely cross-browser website, how to deal with PNG transparent images, how to embed SWF files, and many more. You will be also learning about hosting, domain, domain types, how to upload a website (FTP), validation of markup and CSS3 etc.

In preceding semester, you covered basics to advanced techniques and technologies that are required for creating a Flash or HTML5 based website. Dynamic website is a very common word these days. There are various useful technologies being used to accomplish it.

This semester deals particularly with back-end logics covering PHP, AJAX, MySQL, maintenance and promotion of the websites etc also it consists of web development, web promotion, website maintenance, and customizations. All the contents are uniquely authored and instructed by dedicated expert of web development. This semester ensures you to become a web master. After the completion of the program, one can design any website with advanced logics and with all possible features. This semester also contains various open-source CMS applications to make you work easier.

Every fourth website today is dynamic or uses server-side languages. So, let's start with world's most powerful server side scripting language i.e. PHP. We will also teach you how to create and integrate data-bases successfully to the website. As always, ADMEC believes in providing training at very advanced level so, you will learn core concepts of PHP and MySQL. Industry prefers accurate and productive ways to fulfill the demand of the clients. If one codes a site manually then it takes weeks or months. So, companies have several requirements for Content Management Systems (CMS) Professionals.

Till here, you have successfully learned industry leading technologies, and you can easily establish yourself like many other web professionals in various multinational companies in India or abroad. Real responsibilities begin when design and development process ends. We will share web management, web promotion, website validation, and web customization tricks with you. After this module you can test and validate a site using various validation tools so that you can assure the quality and code structure of the website. After this domain and hosting would be the next topic. This topic summarizes all the essential tips to upload and maintain a site. We will also train you for cPanel management, which means you would be able to create FTP accounts, manage website performance, and create error pages etc.

At the end of the program, SEO is the main topic to be discussed. Here you will get a chance to know about industry popular search engine optimization (SEO) techniques like on page, off page, Google CPC, and social media optimization (SMO) etc. So, that you can bring your targeted sites on the top of the first page of Google, Msn, Yahoo or any other search engines.
