This program comprises two modules: Web Graphics and Web Multimedia & Interactivity. Both modules cover almost everything, which is necessary from planning a web page through design to upload.
Learning outcomes Dur: 4 MonthsThis module explores the structural foundations of web layouting, how designers use grid systems to unite text, images, and other page elements within an overall visual communication. Case studies explore how the masters constructed fluid designs on firm foundations. You'll learn how elements such as margins, markers, modules, and flow lines help to unify a layout or web template. Then you'll examine applications for the common grid systems used by designers: manuscript grid, column grid, modular grid, and hierarchical grid. Students will have to work with client side projects/ live projects and will have a degree of flexibility in choosing the orientation of their project. Students will work as a team and will be jointly responsible for the planning, conduct and outcome of the project, under the supervision of a member of staff acting as a guide. The project will be a significantly-sized production, with the objective of producing an output reflecting a real world need, together with accompanying documentation.
