Web Premium Course at ADMEC Multimedia Institute – Fully Explained

ADMEC Multimedia Institute > Web Design > Web Premium Course at ADMEC Multimedia Institute – Fully Explained

This is India’s most advanced and most popular course in web designing and UI development. Web Premium Course at ADMEC Multimedia Institute was created for aspirants who wish to make a successful career in web designing or complete front-end development. This course primarily consists of software and languages which are required for the same.

Web Premium Course is divided into three parts

  • Creativity Enhancement
  • Designing Software
  • Programming Languages

Creativity Enhancement

Surely, you might have heard this saying –

Ideas are worth nothing unless executed.

—-Steve Jobs

A better-designed user interface is more important than anything in the process of making a website or web app. These classes are not your typical sketching classes where you learn to draw. It’s much more than that and yes you can argue there is no need but we feel otherwise as these classes include concepts/ topics like

  • Sketching
  • Color Schemes
  • Perspective
  • Types of Layouts
  • Outdoor Sketching
  • Abstract Art
  • Shape Activities
  • Typography
  • Logo Ideas
  • Design Process
  • Design Thinking

When designing websites, knowledge of the above serves as a starting point. Say you can design a website and can also add multiple effects to it but if you don’t know what color schemes and font goes with different industries or how to balance these effects equally without making a mess then yeah this class is a must.

These sketching classes are not organized separately meaning you don’t have to lose your regular classes you can learn software or languages simultaneously with sketching classes.

Think of this as an extra which we think is a must for any aspirant.

Note: Keep in mind Web Premium Course is a diploma course after the completion of every topic you are given a project and blog to test the knowledge of the topics you just covered. You have to complete these projects and class assignments to receive your diploma.

These projects also help you to build a rich portfolio which you can show in your interviews later.

Design Software

There are two software which we think are necessary and every designer should know

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe XD

In Adobe Photoshop you learn things like editing, layouting, designing things that can be needed at the time of coding like masking images and stuff. It is a lot easier to do in Photoshop rather than looking for a tool or a graphic designer just to edit some images.

Here’s a link to some of the work done by our students:

Adobe XD on the other hand will serve as a tool where you’ll start your design work and show it to the clients this software has features where you can communicate with the team and clients so that everyone is on the same page. Along with that XD can also be used for prototyping where you give the live presentation of the designs which feels like a complete product.

So yeah these software are quite important and will be a good addition to anyone’s portfolio.

Programming Languages

Juicy part of the web premium program here will start off with languages like

HTML

There is nothing without this and it’s not a programming language. HTML is used to give the necessary structure to the websites.

Once you prepare the foundation or structure of the webpage in HTML, the next task is to work on its look. This is where we require CSS. Firstly we teach how to make a website with HTML and CSS along with how to make it responsive (a single website that can be viewed on different devices).

After you can do it manually we shift to the CSS frameworks like Bootstrap.

Check pure HTML and CSS website designs.

Bootstrap is one of the most popular, used and in demand and for all the right reasons it has good classes for making things responsive. Yes, design is still a bit off but hey you know CSS so you got it.

Note: Along with these, we will also guide you on how to use various libraries which are frequently used like owl carousel, swiper, font awesome, sweet alert, nice select, etc.

The sources where you can get the dummy images and design ideas are all covered in detail.

You can also check some responsive designs with Bootstrap projects created by our students.

SASS

SASS is the CSS pre-processor used by Twitter to make Bootstrap. I guess that was enough to explain what SASS can do. Basically what SASS does is give you the ability to write CSS style like a programming language and all repetitions are removed.

SASS is often used with Angular and React which you’ll learn further.

After learning these you’ll be able to design a website but will lack certain functionality which can be achieved by JavaScript.

Believe me when I say this, learn this language properly, give it time, and don’t mess with this language cause after this everything you’ll learn will depend on this one and if you don’t know this one then learning others is of no use.

JavaScript

Simply put this scripting language is used for giving additional functionality to the websites and adding more features to it. Learning starts with the core/ basics of the programming language and after that we move to the DOM part which is used for manipulating the actual document (webpage).

So you learned the programming language. It’s time we get familiarise ourselves with JavaScript’s libraries and frameworks.

jQuery

This library is used as an abbreviation of JavaScript meaning it has shorter syntaxes than JavaScript and is quite easier to master and is used often by developers around the world.

Angular

To start with angular we first need to know about the typescript. Typescript is actually a superset of JS or JavaScript. Angular comes among the powerful JavaScript framework. It is used in the development of single page applications. Angular has its own CSS styling framework called Angular Material which is top of the line when it comes to styling Angular.

For databases, you’ll also get to learn google firebase for storing all the data.

The only disadvantage or more like a limitation it has is that it’s a framework meaning everything you have to do is confined you have to do documentation. But being a framework it’s complete it has everything required so Angular based development starts quite faster cause you don’t to setup or search for things.

Check the Angular projects created by our students: A Library Management Application and a Lab Management Application

React

There is no requirement of any other language library other than the knowledge of JavaScript.

React here has no competition like no other framework or library reach close to the level of popularity it is now. Yes its library meaning it’s not limited and there is no pressure for using a certain thing you can use anything and nothing is provided by the library itself you have to work it out.

React Development takes time to kick off as there are lots of things that need to be set up beforehand. But yeah in various cases it surpasses Angular too.

Note: Browsers won’t understand React, Angular, and JQuery everything is broken down / compiled to the JavaScript so all you are basically doing is coding in JS.

Upon completion of these languages etc., special classes are organised where students are taught about Domain and Hosting.

Congrats you are a UI Designer, UI Developer, Web Designer, and Front-end Developer with a good portfolio to show for the best opening in the world.
