On Saturday, 3rd May 2025, ADMEC Multimedia Institute organized a Canvas Painting Competition from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. This was open to all students from any course. It was really a fun, creative, and colorful day. Today, we brought the highlights from the Canvas Painting Competition 2025 through this blog.
All the design courses students participated and brought out their canvases, colors, and brushes with them. We saw excitement on the faces of all the students. All were ready to showcase their painting skills. Students were free to show their creativity in their unique style.
This competition brought us a range of paintings, and each painting has its own story.
How valuable was this Canvas Painting Competition for all the participating students?
It was a valuable experience for all because it helped students to explore a traditional art form. We organized various special painting workshops, canvas sessions with tests to train our students in this art form before conducting this competition.
The benefits of making canvas arts were that all students found that it enhanced their focus, patience level, and attention to detail. The competition also allowed students to gain control over brush strokes, improve their visual storytelling, and understand how to set a color combination and contrast.
Our art mentors, Sahil sir and Promila Mam, supervised the whole competition. The environment was supportive and encouraged participants to give their best. All the other faculty members also motivated students and boosted their confidence.
After all the paintings were completed, all the ADMEC faculty members came together to judge the entries. They evaluated based on 5 criteria. You can check the detailed explanation of the evaluation criteria on our Canvas Painting Competition 2025 event.
Winners and Results
- 1st Rank- Vishaka ( Awarded with Gold Medal and Gift Hamper)
- 2nd Rank- Anushka ( Honored with Silver Medal and Gift Hamper)
- 3rd Rank- Komal ( Rewarded with Bronze Medal and Gift Hamper)
All other participants were also recognized for their efforts. They were rewarded with a Certificate of Participation.
ADMEC welcomes all the participating students and winners and looks forward to many more events like Digital Painting Competition, and Quiz Competitions in the future.
