SUMMARY:A Visit to Lalit Kala Akademi
DESCRIPTION:Institute trips are an essential part of any educational program and methodology and same goes for ADMEC Multimedia Institute. These trips provide a learning atmosphere that we can’t experience in the classroom training. Last month\, our institute organized a trip to the Lalit Kala Akademi\, which is an art museum and cultural center in New Delhi for the students. \nWhy Lalit Kala Akademi?\nThe Lalit Kala Akademi is one such destination that offers an excellent opportunity for all digital media students to explore their creative side while also enhancing their understanding of Indian art and culture. \nLalit Kala Akademi\, also called as National Academy of Art\, inaugurated on 5th August in the year of 1954 by the Minister of Education\, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. \nYou can understand why this trip was necessary with the given points below. \nFirstly\nIt is an institution and a hub of art and creativity\, and a visit to this academy was a fantastic opportunity for students to witness and appreciate the artistic traditions of India. The Lalit Kala Akademi exposes students to the different styles\, techniques\, and mediums used by Indian artists\, and give them a broader perspective on art as a whole. \nSecondly\nADMEC visit to the Lalit Kala Akademi became an excellent source of inspiration for all students who visited there as this academy is home to some of the best artists in India\, and students could learn a lot from their work. \nAfter seeing the artwork of the these best artists all the students got motivated to explore their own artistic abilities. It also gave them ideas for their own art projects and help them develop their skills further. \nThirdly\nVisiting the Lalit Kala Akademi was also a great learning experience for students as they learned about the latest trends\, techniques\, and tools used in the art world and now they have started applying all of them to their own work too. \nFourthly\nThis trip also gave students a chance to interact with local artists\, learn about their lifestyles\, and understand their perspectives on art. \nExperience at Lalit Kala Akademi\nThis trip was joined by our multimedia design expert and art director Mr. Nishu and Mrs. Promila respectively. \n \nAs soon as we entered the museum\, we were greeted with a beautiful collection of art pieces\, ranging from traditional to contemporary art. \nThe first thing that caught our eye was a sculpture of a two humans with different faces\, which was carved out of marble. It was so intricate and lifelike that we couldn’t help but admire it. \nHere it is. \n \nPromila mam who is an art expert\, led students through the museum\, explaining the significance of each piece of art. \n \nWe also learned about the history of Indian art and the various schools of painting that have developed over the years. \nAlso we saw the exhibition of classic contemporary art. It was fascinating to see how artists had used different mediums to express their creativity. There were paintings\, sculptures\, installations\, and mixed media pieces\, each with a unique message and meaning. \n \nThe trip to the Lalit Kala Akademi was not just about art appreciation\, but it also gave us an insight into the world of art and the efforts that go into creating it. \n \nWith this trip our graphic designing courses as well as other design programs students learned about the challenges faced by artists and also got to know the ways to overcome them. We also got to understand the role of museums in preserving and promoting art. \nConclusion\n \nIn conclusion\, the institute trip to Lalit Kala Akademi was an enriching experience that gave us a deeper understanding and appreciation of art. Indeed\, this trip was best blend of art\, education\, and adventure. It helped students to enhance their artistic skills\, gain exposure to Indian art and culture\, and broaden their perspectives. \nHave a look at some more images from this trip\n

DESCRIPTION:This year\, in the month of January\, an art competition conducted by ADMEC Multimedia Institute\, gave a great platform for aspiring design students to showcase their skills and creativity. Such competitions not only provide an opportunity to young artists to gain recognition\, but also help in fostering a culture of art and creativity. \nWhy ADMEC conducts Art Competitions?\nFor exposure\nOne of the key benefits of an art competition is that it provides exposure to the artists. Art students who participate in these competitions get an opportunity to showcase their work to a wider audience\, which includes not just other artists\, but also art enthusiasts\, art critics\, and potential clients. This exposure can lead to various opportunities for the artists\, such as commissions\, exhibitions\, and collaborations. \nPlatform to get feedback\nThere is one more benefits of conducting such art competitions and it is the pointing out of mistakes students do while designing. The judges of the competition are typically experienced artists\, art critics\, and designers\, who provide valuable insights and suggestions to the participants. The feedbacks from respected trainers let the students improve their designs as well as style of work. \nInspire students\nAnother reason for art competitions is that they are the great source or way to inspire the students to do better in designing and learn new things enthusiastically. The competitions motivate design students to create new works and explore new techniques and mediums and work on the innovative idea creation. \nTo identify and nurture talent\nFor the design institute conducting the competition\, it provides an opportunity to identify and nurture talent. The institute can use the competition as a way to scout for talented students who can be offered scholarships or other forms of support. It also helps the institute to build its reputation as a center of artistic excellence and attract more students. \nTheme of the Art Competition\nThe competition was divided into two parts\, with the first part challenging students to create a story that depicted the advantages and disadvantages of India and Pakistan as one nation without partition. The second part of the competition involved creating an abstract poster on either face or nature\, using primary and secondary colors on canvas. \nStory Writing for the Ad\nThe story writing task required students to think deeply about the potential benefits and drawbacks of the scenario where two countries were never divided. They had to use their imagination and creativity to come up with a compelling storyline that would showcase their writing skills. The instructors provided guidance and feedback to help the students refine their work and bring their stories to life. \nAbstract Art Poster Making\nIn the poster creation task\, students had to use their understanding of color theory and composition to create a visually appealing abstract artwork. The posters had to be creative and unique\, using a mix of primary and secondary colors to convey a mood or emotion. The students were encouraged to experiment with different textures and techniques to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art. \nResults of the Art Competition 2023\nThe entries for both the story and poster competitions were judged on creativity\, originality\, and technical skills. \nIn the end\, the top three entries for both the story and poster competitions were awarded certificates and special “Born to Design” t-shirts by ADMEC Multimedia Institute.  \nThe winners were praised for their exceptional creativity\, storytelling abilities\, and technical proficiency. Here are the names for the top three entries:  \n\nSatyam Singh – 1st Position\nAditya – 2nd Position\nGhanan Dhamija and Rashmi Pal – 3rd Position \n\nThese winners are pursuing graphic design courses as well as UI UX design courses from ADMEC.  \nIn conclusion\, this art competition 2023 helped ADMEC to identify and nurture the talent of the creative students and recognise their hard work and dedication. ADMEC is planning to organize design quizzes as well as competitions in the future.

DESCRIPTION:Our Star of the Month award comes in the form of a unique and special opportunity to celebrate the hard work\, talent and achievements of the students and make them feel appreciated. This award marks the students’ performance in the software applications\, special workshops\, design competition\, and commercial art sessions. He is our 2D animation course student. Dhruv as an animation course student has developed his own style of work and pays special attention to every detail in the projects assigned to him by his mentors. During his Photoshop project which was on a photography studio branding; Dhruv has maintained a balance between his digital and commercial art projects. He submitted both on time and shown what it means to be a sincere learner. \nIn the past few days\, Dhruv has also got the title of best performer in digital painting session. His digital paintings have selected in the top 3 artwork by our commercial art director Mrs. Promila. \nWe know there is much more to achieve for you Dhruv\, all the very best for it! \nFew words from Dhruv Kishor\nHello everyone\, \nI am Dhruv Kishor currently pursuing 2d animation course from ADMEC Multimedia Institute. It’s really really a great honour for me to be awarded as Star of the December month. I could achieve this title and made it possible because of my mentors Nishu sir and Promila mam who guided me at every step and helped me to earn this title. This award encourages me to keep going and this is really the best start for me. \nI would also like to thank the ADMEC Multimedia Institute for organizing these events for students At ADMEC\, I learned a lot of things which is not only about software but also creative thinking and right way of doing work. \nI will make sure that I always do better in future. \nThank you
