DESCRIPTION:ADMEC recently organized a UI design competition on May 11\, 2023. And the given topic to all teams was the “Re-designing of a video editing institute website. \nIt was a full day competition. \nThe competition was divided into five rounds\, each with its own time limit: \nRound 1 – Brainstorming/Research (45 minutes): In this round\, team members had to conduct research and brainstorm ideas. Each member was assigned a style guide and specific tasks under the guidance of the team leader. Additionally\, file-making work was done in this round. \nRound 2 – Handmade Sketches (30 minutes): In this round\, participants had to create presentable and correct user interface sketches on sheets. These sketches acted as mock-ups for the graphical user interface design of the website. Existing images\, parts\, and other sketches were incorporated into the user interface sketches. \nRound 3 – Flow Chart (30 minutes): This round focused on creating a flow chart that demonstrated how the team’s product would appear on the website. \nRound 4 – Wireframes (30 minutes): Round four was dedicated to creating wireframes in high and low fidelity. Wireframes are monochromatic drawings that serve as blueprints for the page structure\, layout\, and information of the application’s UI. \nRound 5 – Final Mock-up and Prototyping (45 minutes): The last round involved creating the final structure of the product\, including micro-interactions to showcase how users would interact with the product. This stage required the students to demonstrate their hard work and teamwork. \nJudgement Criteria of the UI Design Competition\nThere were three sections to score marks in for all teams: \nSection 1: Team and File Management (15 Marks)\n\nTeam Management: This criterion assessed the team’s ability to work together effectively\, allocate tasks\, and collaborate. The team dress code played a significant role in securing full 10 marks in this section.\nAttendance: Attendance records were considered to evaluate the team’s commitment and participation\, with a weightage of 5 marks.\n\nSection 2: Project Management (70 marks) \nThis section comprised two parts: Planning and Designing. \nPlanning: \n\nFile Making: The organization and structure of files and resources were assessed\, accounting for 10 marks.\nDesign Brief: The teams were evaluated on their ability to understand and follow the design brief provided\, with a weightage of 5 marks.\nPlanning and Analysis: This criterion assessed the team’s planning process and their ability to analyze the requirements of the project\, carrying a weightage of 10 marks.\n\nDesigning\n\nUserflow: The teams were judged based on the clarity and effectiveness of the user flow in their design\, accounting for 10 marks.\nSketches: The quality and presentation of handmade sketches demonstrating the user interface were evaluated\, carrying a weightage of 10 marks.\nWireframes: The teams were assessed on their creation of wireframes\, both in terms of high and low fidelity\, with a weightage of 15 marks.\nMockups: This criterion evaluated the final mock-ups and prototypes of the product\, accounting for 5 marks.\n\nSection 3: Team and Project Presentation (15 marks)\n\nTeam Presentation: The teams were assessed on their ability to present as a cohesive unit\, with a weightage of 5 marks.\nProject Presentation: This criterion evaluated the clarity\, organization\, and effectiveness of the team’s presentation of their project\, carrying a weightage of 10 marks.\n\nThe grand total score on the scoring sheet was 100. \nTime for the Result\nAt the end of the competition\, Team A\, mentored by Deepak Sir and led by Akansha\, emerged as the winning team with the highest scoring marks. Team C\, mentored by Anuradha Mam and led by Rashmi Pal\, secured the runner-up position. Team B and Team D were the remaining teams on third position. \nSpecial awards were given to acknowledge outstanding performances. Akansha from Team A received the Best Team Leader award\, and Ghanan from Team C was recognized as the Best Performer of the competition. \nKudos to all the participants for their outstanding dedication and remarkable accomplishments in the competition!

DESCRIPTION:ADMEC Multimedia Institute organized a thrilling and intellectually stimulating event\, the Multimedia Quiz Competition 2023\, on 31st July in Rohini\, Delhi.  \nMultimedia Quiz 2023 Teams and Mentors\nThe competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from three teams – Team A\, Team B\, and Team C. Each team had the privilege of being guided and mentored by experienced professionals.  \nNishu Sir took the responsibility of mentoring Team C\, while Deepak Sir expertly mentored both Team A and Team B. The teams were further led by capable leaders: Muskan for Team A\, Shakshi for Team B\, and Arshdeep for Team C. \nGoal and Vision Behind Multimedia Quiz Competition 2023\nThe primary goal and vision behind this competition were to enhance the learning experience of all students at ADMEC Multimedia Institute. The event aimed to provide an opportunity for students to delve deeper into the world of digital media\, learn valuable lessons in teamwork and collaboration\, and showcase their hidden knowledge and skills. \nThroughout the competition\, students learned invaluable lessons in various areas.  \nJudgement Criteria\nThe judgement criteria were set to a challenging level\, comprising multiple aspects such as the points scored in each round\, which covered a wide range of topics like designing\, post-production\, programming\, reading\, writing\, idea creation\, general knowledge\, current affairs\, music\, and more. Additionally\, team management\, timely reporting\, adherence to the dress code\, and discipline among the team members were also taken into account for evaluation. \nRounds of the Multimedia Quiz\nFor a thrilling test of knowledge of the students\, this competition featured five engaging rounds\, each with a unique set of questions and a specific duration. The primary objective of this industrial visit to printing press 2023 was to provide the students with a first-hand experience of the intricate processes involved in the world of printing\, including printing\, cutting\, binding\, and lamination. \nObjectives of Visit\nThis opportunity not only deepened their understanding of the field but also allowed them to witness the seamless integration of design and production. \nThe visit was especially beneficial for the students pursuing a diploma in graphic design in Delhi at ADMEC\, as it provided them with a unique insight into the nuances of offset printing\, which is a widely used technique in the printing industry. \nIt allowed them to connect the dots between their creative work on the computer screen and the tangible results produced at the press. This hands-on experience was an eye-opener for the students\, enabling them to appreciate the practical aspects of their field. \nWhat students learned in this industrial visit to printing press\nThe visit was structured to cover the entire printing process\, encompassing pre-press\, press\, and post-press stages. \n1. DESCRIPTION:At ADMEC we want our students to feel comfortable in the classroom and real-world application. This is the reason whenever possible we conduct outside visits to industries\, galleries\, and exhibitions. Recently we visited a Media Expo at Pragati Maidan\, Delhi. Our core purpose behind conducting this industry tour was to make our students understand the standards\, new technologies\, and work processes of the media industry. \nWhy is participating in industry visits important for students?\nNowadays people are more into practical learning than theoretical knowledge so that kind of outing shows the practical world what students going to face. And that is precisely why we take children to colleges\, exhibitions\, art galleries\, printing presses\, and industry visits—because they grasp concepts more quickly through hands-on\, visual learning experiences. We aim for them to absorb every aspect of knowledge related to advanced software courses\, current trends\, and more. The digital world knows no boundaries; it offers limitless possibilities for those with creative minds to perceive and interpret the world in unique ways. \nThis visit provided a real-world experience to all students and benefits all of especially those who are pursuing Diploma Courses in Graphic Design in Delhi at ADMEC. \nGroup of ADMEC teachers and students excited to be a part of the Media Expo at Pragati Madan in New Delhi\nApproximately 45 students joined the tour and in charge of the trip were Deepak sir\, Promila mam\, and Sahil sir who are design & commercial art experts. \nWhat students discovered while visiting the Media Expo at Pragati Madan?\nADMEC’s team of teachers and students exploring the Media Expo\nThis Media Expo presented an exhibition of approx. 125 exhibitors coming from different corners of India (Data from printweek.in). It was the best learning opportunity for all students to see their work process live. They observed the working of various kinds of machines and printing technologies that are going to dominate the industry in the next few years. Students were amazed by the wide range of machines and technologies that were used for making advertising including signage\, indoor designs\, outdoor advertising\, digital printing\, etc. \nConcluding observations\nThe whole process of the industry visit to the Media Expo at Pragati Maidan\, Delhi\, was a great success. The visit not only expanded the views of the students of ADMEC’s Graphic Design students but also highlighted the importance of adaptable education that includes hands-on experience. \nStudents are now full of confidence and motivation with their valuable experience on the tour. This cherished event is a much-anticipated occasion\, aimed at fostering camaraderie and creating lasting memories among the entire ADMEC family. \nDeparture and Journey\nOn a bright and cheerful morning\, the ADMEC community assembled at the institute at 9 am\, excited and ready for a day full of adventure and enjoyment. The journey to Camp Deva Farms was filled with laughter and spirited camaraderie\, as students and staff engaged in games like Dumb Charades and Antakshari aboard the bus. It was a delightful way to kick off the day. \nArrival at Camp Deva Farms\nAt 10 am\, the group reached Camp Deva Farms\, where they were greeted by the vibrant beats of dhol music\, setting the tone for the day ahead. After a hearty breakfast\, everyone was raring to go and participate in a wide range of activities that the camp had to offer. \nA Day of Thrills and Adventures\nThe day was brimming with thrilling experiences\, offering something for everyone. The activities included camel rides and camel cart rides\, tractor rides\, bull rides\, ziplining\, conquering the commando net and hurdles\, rock climbing\, archery\, pottery\, dart shooting\, and dancing to the lively tunes played by the DJ and dhol. The camp provided an opportunity for all to leave their comfort zones behind\, jump into some new things\, and discover hidden talents. \nNot only were the adventurous activities a highlight\, but traditional games like tug of war\, badminton\, volleyball\, and cricket brought out the competitive spirit in everyone. The “sky cycle” activity\, a particular favorite\, allowed participants to pedal high above the ground\, creating an exhilarating experience and unforgettable memories. \nFun and Games on the Return Journey\nThe return journey was no less entertaining\, with an enthusiastic game of Antakshari that had everyone singing their hearts out especially Promila Mam\, Anuradha Mam\, and Nishu Sir. Laughter\, bonding\, and fun reverberated through the bus as they made their way back to ADMEC. \nThe Essence of Togetherness\nThe fun trip to Camp Deva Farms was more than just a day of entertainment; it was an occasion for the entire ADMEC family to come together\, forge stronger bonds\, and create cherished memories. DESCRIPTION:ADMEC Multimedia Institute organizes outdoor art and sketching sessions every year to encourage students to learn human anatomy\, perspective\, still life\, light and shadow\, etc. The study of these important topics helps students improve their overall design sense. Industry demands for the creative minds not the DTP operators thus\, these types of sessions are like the creativity boosters for students and become a must-attend.  \nBy considering the demand of the current industry\, these outdoor sessions can impact the overall growth of students as budding designers\, editors\, compositors\, animators\, artists. \n3 Days Long Art and Sketching Outdoor Sessions 2023\nThis year\, we conducted three sessions for students from various courses and backgrounds\, including graphic design and animation. Every student actively participated in these sessions. \nDay 1: Our instructors\, Ms. Promila Dhandewal and Sahil Sir\, guided the students to capture photos with the right angle\, distance\, perspective\, light\, and shadow. \nDay 2: On the second day\, students started creating artwork based on the captured photos on their canvas and sketchbooks. They drawn the captured pics using different types of pencils for shading and sketches. \nDay 3: Day 3 was full of colors and paints as students started painting with a rainbow of colors\, producing many beautiful artworks. Our instructors\, Promila Mam and Sahil Sir\, assisted students in working with different styles of painting and sketching. \nHow have these sessions helped our students?\n\nWith these sessions\, students learned about live photo capturing by keeping the rule of thirds in mind.\nThe outdoor sessions provided a new learning experience for all the students beyond the classroom.\nActive participants understood the role of perspective in sketching\, painting\, and designing.\nThe sessions helped learners understand the role of light and shadow.\nAnimation courses’ students experienced real-life human anatomy sketching under expert guidance. They could applied their the concepts of human anatomy learnt during the classroom sessions while participating in the art and sketching outdoor sessions.\n\nWhat was the location decided for the sessions?\nThe location chosen for the sessions was Rohini District Park\, a large area suitable for exploring concepts like perspective\, human anatomy\, still life\, live sketching\, etc. \nWhen did these sessions start?\nThe sessions started on 4th December and concluded on 6th December\, leaving students with fun learning experiences and lasting memories. \nIn conclusion\, the Art and Sketching Outdoor Sessions 2023 not only enriched the students’ artistic skills but also fostered a holistic learning environment. As the final month of the year\, December revealed the names of some talented students whose skills and performances were hidden throughout the year.  \nLet’s take a detailed look at the Star of the December Month 2023 award below. \nStar of the December Month 2023\nAll of our faculty members nominated students from different courses based on their overall performance in December. Palak\, Arshdeep\, and Bhawna topped the list. \nAnd the award goes to Arshdeep for her brilliant performance in the Adobe Illustrator project. Arshdeep is pursuing 12 months long graphic design course in Delhi. She created a complete brand identity campaign on the topic of Sanskara\, a company offering a combination of festival and celebration items. Arshdeep planned the designs from the logo\, visiting card\, and poster\, to packaging\, calendar\, etc. She also created mock-ups in Adobe Dimension to add a real 3D touch to the designs. \nHer project file was completely handmade and presented every stage of the planning she took while designing. \nLet’s take a look at some of the designs she made for the brand Sanskara. \n \n  \nReview from Arshdeep – Star of December 2023\nHi\, everyone! This month\, we brought the award: Star of the August Month 2024 and selected the top nominees for it. \nNominees for the Star of the August Month 2024\n\nDishant (Graphic Master Plus Course)\nKrish Kant (Graphic Master Plus Course)\nYogesh (Post Production Customize)\n\nOur Star of the August Month 2024\nDishant excelled in commercial art sessions\, while Yogesh was outstanding in his software classes for Adobe Illustrator. The one who excelled in both was Krish Kant and thus got the award for August month. \nAbout Krish Kant\nThe entire team of ADMEC Multimedia Institute is proud to present this award to Krish Kant for his outstanding performance throughout the month. He enrolled in our 12-month-long diploma in graphic design\, i.e.\, the Graphic Master Plus course\, recently. Even being a new student who started learning his first application\, Krish Kant demonstrated an amazing performance to excel not only in Illustrator classes but also in commercial art sessions. All of the instructors are happy with his performance. He actively participates in all the extracurricular activities like quizzes\, workshops\, and exhibitions.  \nAdobe Illustrator Project by Krish Kant\nKrish Kant worked on the fitness brand named “Fit Flow Fitness” as a practice project under the guidance of one of our most senior design and animation mentors\, Deepak Sir. \nFrom user research\, design planning\, stationery and mock-up creation to project files\, he created everything within the duration of 15 days. This project brought the SOM title to him.  \nAgain\, we congratulate Krish Kant for winning the title of Star of the August Month 2024! \nWords from our Student of the Month “Krish Kant”\nHello friends\, my name is Krishkant Soni and I’ve been enrolled in the Graphic Master Plus course. So far my overall experience has been positive. I really enjoy learning with the instructors at the academy. All are very experts in their subjects and provide in-depth knowledge of the topic. I’ve particularly benefited from the one-on-one training structure at the institute. Learning environment here is awesome\, recently I participated in Multimedia Quiz competition has Team B member. I also did canvas painting and explored digital painting techniques. \nLast month\, we went to an Industry visit to Pragati Madan and got a pack of knowledge about print\, media\, latest machines\, and technologies. It’s not that only a couple of students are doing well at ADMEC but we can’t miss those who are doing great in their academics and practical. To appreciate the extra efforts of the students\, we’ve introduced the Star of the Month award. So\, even last month\, we had the award ceremony for the Star of September Month 2024. \nLet’s see who were in the nominations for this award. \nNominees for the Star of the September Month 2024\nRaghav was the first student who got nominated for this award. He is the student of our 15-month long Adobe CC diploma. The next nominated student was Priyal who recently shared her journey on Adobe Illustrator classes. Her course is 12-month most advanced graphic design course. The very last student was Namya who is also a student of Graphic design course. \nSo\, let’s reveal who became the Star of the September Month 2024. \nAbout our Star Of the Month Namya Garg\nWith great pride\, the ADMEC Multimedia Institute team awards Namya Garg for her outstanding performance in Adobe Illustrator project under the guidance of Nishu Sir. \n  \nNamya is enrolled in a 12-months course named Graphic Master plus one of the best courses in graphic design at ADMEC.  \nShe is very active from the start of the course. Doing day-to-day work on a daily basis. Also good in interacting and helping others. She as our Star of the month is not only good in academic but also in nature.  \nNamya is also very active in competitions also. She also won the digital painting competition 2024. Her performance has earned praise from instructors. \nHow to Be the Next Star of the Month?\nBecoming the next SOM depends on the performance of students in various areas: \n\nAttending classes regularly: By attending regular courses students should get to know the topics going on so that they won’t miss any topics.\nContribution to Co-curricular Activities: Students need to participate in each and every event whether it’s a practical verbal indoors or outdoor.\nTimely Completion of Tasks and Projects: Submitting assignments and projects on time reflects your dedication and activeness. SUMMARY:Digital Painting Competition 2024 at ADMEC Multimedia Institute
DESCRIPTION:ADMEC Multimedia has recently conducted a successful competition to give all of all the design students a chance to showcase their art skills. This competition was for the students pursing courses in graphic design\, animation\, and multimedia. It was conducted in two phases: Canvas Painting and Digital Painting. \nHow these competitions are enhancing the design skills of our students\nCompeting in design competitions helps students evaluate their skills and recognize their strengths. This is essential for thriving in the real world. At ADMEC\, we regularly organize skill development competitions to support this growth. \nParticipating in a competition can boost the student’s design skills! They also step out of their comfort zone and handle the real- world challenges. These challenges encourage them to get more creative. It’s all about the practical experience\, getting to know new ideas\, experiencing what works\, and getting real feedback from others. Overall\, these competitions make learning fun and help students grow as designers! \nCanvas & Digital Painting Sessions\nWe conducted 15 days long sessions for Canvas and digital painting under the guidance of our experts Ms. Promila\, Ms. Anuradha and Mr. Sahil. These sessions trained our students to create both canvas and digital art. We explained each step with every technique and fundamental of brushwork and color theory. \nStudents learned about painting techniques\, fundamentals of color theory\, perspectives\, light and shadow during the canvas painting sessions. We also covered practice about color blending colors for smooth transitions (shading a sphere from light to dark). \nDuring our digital art sessions\, our design expert\, Ms. Anuradha guided the students. She explained the process of using digital pen tablet with the Photoshop and Sketchbook tool. Students got to know about all the tools and techniques for digital painting in these special sessions. \nOur experts discussed the methods to create digital art work in a very simple process. From using Smudge brush to blending modes\, students explored a lot during these sessions. They understood the use of blending modes\, color ranges\, shadows\, midtone\, and highlights in digital art. \nOnce\, we saw students getting confidence in the painting on both canvas and digital artboard\, we came up with the competition. \nDigital Painting Competition 2024\n \nWe recently held a digital painting competition for all design course students. This competition was thankfully a success. Many students took part in it. They gave their best effort. However\, not everyone can win. We had a tough task of selecting the winners. \nFirst\, we decided to divide the students into groups or teams so that they also learn teamwork skills.\nWe got five teams of 2-3 students. We made students free to pick the topic of their choice for the digital painting. But they had to present their thoughts through a presentation. \nResults & Award\nWe decided to take top three best performing teams for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd rank award. Students who couldn’t get the ranks got the participation award. \nDetails of Work of Team Got Positions\nWe’ll start from the winners of course!\nThe 1st rank goes to Team (Namya and Tannu). Congratulations students! \n \nAbout their painting:\nThey presented women’s crime practicing nowadays. The painting shows the pain of the girls who suffer from the situation. Good color selection\, font and art work led them to winning trophy. \nThe 2nd rank goes to Team (Ritika\, Chakresh\, and Sajid). Well done students! \n \nAbout their painting:\nThey had shown a time travel art work. Their painting presented a girl standing in front of the mirror and seeing herself as an old woman. The art presented that how time changes a person from a young attractive look to an old personality having Wrinkles and a weak body. \nThe 3rd rank goes to Team (Harsh\, Agrasen\, and Abhishek). Good job students! \n \nAbout their painting:\nThey presented a blend of nature landscape on portrait theme. Colors flowers\, mountains\, rivers\, and birds were in their art work. \nClosing Remarks\nWith a little effort from our great faculty\, the students came out with outstanding results. We are looking forward to arranging more competitions and design events like this to enhance their skills and to understand their capabilities.

DESCRIPTION:Rangoli design competition is one of the most awaited competitions at ADMEC multimedia institute. Everyone at the institute\, celebrate the festive season of Diwali with Rangolis. Even this year\, we organized the rangoli making competition for students. \nRangoli Design Competition 2024\nOur rangoli design competition was held on 30th October\, Wednesday this year. More than 30 students participated in this competition. There were 3 teams. Each team had one team leader and mentor with 10 members. Various meetings were conducted by all the teams before the competition day. All the mentors guided the teams and finalized their ideas for rangolis. Each team was free to choose any type of rangoli they wanted to make. \nTeams in the Rangoli Design Competition\nLet’s get to know about each team one by one. \nTeam A\nTeam A participating in RDC 2024\nTeam mentor: Sahil sir\nTeam leader: Tannu (UI UX Design Diploma student at ADMEC) \nTeam A presented a classical rangoli design to us. They made Ram ji and Sita ji. The team decorated their rangoli with multi-color flowers. They light up it with water diyas instead of traditional oil or ghee diyas. Their rangoli was on primary color scheme. \nTeam A Rangoli\nList of all team members: \n\nTannu\nAgrasen\nPranjali\nNaman Jain\nJyoti\nBhavna Jain\nAman\nPriyanshu\nAnkita\nMeet\n\nTeam B\nTeam B participating in RDC 2024\nTeam Mentor: Promila Mam\nTeam leader: Shivani (web design diploma program student at ADMEC) \nTeam B had a very unique idea in their mind. They decided to make rangoli design on ADMEC logo with its complementary color scheme. The team dedicated their rangoli to us. Their rangoli was rich in colors and had a festive theme. Every month we conduct SOM to encourage students and let them come out of an ordinary learning routine. Becoming the best performer of the month out of 200 students is really an achievement. Congratulations Chirag! He really did a great work than other students in his commercial art classes. Chirag is enrolled in our 12-months long Graphic Master Plus program. Both of his software and commercial arts trainers are satisfied with his performance. He is a dedicated student with soft spoken skills. \nWords from our Star of the Month November 2024\nI chose ADMEC for my graphic design training because they have the best teachers first of all. Also\, I found that they are offering commercial art classes to students. Commercial art is really important to learn as it gives designing sense and clarity to fundamentals. I would like to thank my commercial art mentor Promila mam for her mentorship. She taught me an approach to forming design solutions just in a few months of training. It also helped me in my software classes. I really like the training methodology of ADMEC. It is a good graphic design training institute in Delhi. \nThank you ADMEC. \nHow to be the Next Star?\nBecoming a Star of the Month is not a very complicated task at all. SUMMARY:Outdoor Sketching Sessions 2024
DESCRIPTION:At ADMEC Multimedia Institute\, we provide students with interesting sessions to improve their creativity skills and make them think more artistically. All this is to make their paintings and projects look more attractive. Sketching is such an artistic skill that a sketcher can draw his or her imagination as he or she thinks. This is the reason we conduct outdoor sketching sessions every year. \nThrough these special sessions\, our experienced faculty helps students grow and sharpen their skills to become professional designers\, editors\, compositors\, animators\, and artists. These outdoor classes are for all courses students. \nHere’s an overview of the three-day outdoor sketching sessions in 2024\nWe executed a three-day outdoor sessions series for our excellent and charming students this year. All students showed interest in these sessions. \nDay 1: On the first day\, we taught students how to take proper live photos. Our instructors\, Ms. Promila Ma’am\, and Sahil Sir\, helped students click the images at the right angle. Students learned about the various perspectives like one-point\, two-point and three-point. Then they made sketches using shading pencils of the captured images in their ADMEC sketchbooks. \nDay 2: On the second day our instructors taught students about the colouring methods using coloured pencils. This day students converted their sketches into coloured using coloured pencils. \nDay 3: On the last day of this sessions series students worked on acrylic\, water and poster colours to finish their artworks. \nWhat made these Sessions Special?\nOutdoor sketching sessions inspire students to view the world through the eyes of an artist. The open-air environment keeps students’ minds relaxed and calm\, helping them to make their paintings with their whole hearts\, happiness\, and joy. Students learned various methods to create artworks from pencil shading\, colouring to painting using water\, poster and acrylic colours. \nLocation of the Outdoor Sketching Session\nWe chose the district park near Rohini East metro station. It’s a huge and open ground park where students can draw any particular part of the park.  \nWhen did these Sessions Start?\nThe outdoor sessions started on 23 December and ended on 25 December. The total duration of each session was 3 hours.
