SUMMARY:Outdoor Sketching Sessions 2025
DESCRIPTION:Training at ADMEC Multimedia Institute is not limited to classrooms only. We give freedom to our students to step out of the walls of their classes and experience the world of designing under an open sky. That’s why we organize special sessions for outdoor learning. This year\, too\, we conducted the Outdoor Sketching Sessions 2025 in the winter season. \nOur commercial art instructors\, Promila Mam and Sahil Sir\, joined the students to guide them on how to observe everything like an artist. \nInstructors guiding Students\nOverview of 3-Day Outdoor Sketching Sessions 2025\n\nDuration: 03 Days\nDates: 1st\, 2nd & 3rd December\nInstructors: Mrs Promila Dhanderwal and Mr. Sahil Kumar\, our professionals in commercial art.\nParticipants: Around 20-25 students from different designing courses attended all three sessions enthusiastically. They brought pencils\, colors\, and sketchbooks to capture the beauty of nature. The environment became full of creative energy.\nSessions Location: Rohini District Park\, Sector 9\, Delhi – 110085\n\nDay-by-Day Highlights of Outdoor Learning\nDay-1 Capturing the Moment\nOn day 1\, our instructors guided students to capture one of the scenes from the wide view of the district park. The park was so large with various beautiful spots to pick for artwork creation. \n \nThe very first skill that students learned on day 1 was detailed observation of surroundings. Every student learned how to capture live scenes and selected the best possible spot to start their sketching. \nAdditionally\, our mentors guided students on photography that covered concepts like how to take with proper framing\, angles\, and perspectives. \nTrainers guiding students on Photography\nFor the first day\, all students were asked to create pencil sketches of the scenes they selected. The main part was to maintain the right perspective\, angle\, and proportions in the sketching.  \nInstructors Working on Artwork\nOur trainers presented live sketching and shading using various types of pencils. They taught how to draw shadows and highlights in the artwork. Students followed their instructions\, and their results were amazing. \nSome of the works from day 1 of the outdoor session 2025\nMayank’s Work\nAnjali’s & Varun’s Work\nDay-2: From Sketch to Color\nNow\, day 2 started\, and it brought colors with it. All the students were ready with pencils and colors in their hands to create 2nd artwork. This time\, students were asked to draw a new scene with colored pencils instead of plain black and white sketching. \nBoth trainers helped students to understand the concepts of color blending and shading using colored pencils. \nSome of the works from day 2 of the outdoor session 2025 \nAnjali Day 2 Outdoor Work\nDay 3 Painting & Final Touches\nOn the final day\, students had to use different colors of painting like watercolors\, poster colors\, and acrylic colors.  \nStudents working with Acrylic Paints\nThis was a bit challenging in the beginning\, but with the right training from our art mentors\, it became easier for students.  \nStudents experimented with paint brushes\, applied different strokes and textures to their artwork. And the results were outstanding. \nSome of the works from day 3 of the outdoor session 2025\nAnjali Day 3 Outdoor Work\nMayank Day 3 Outdoor Work\nVarun Day 3 Outdoor Work\nWhy These Outdoor Art Visualization Sessions Matter?\n\nVisual Observation Training: From day 1\, students started learning practical implementation of visual observation\, photography\, and sketching techniques. This later became more advanced with colors and creativity for students. \nHolistic Learning: These sessions gave students a chance to learn together with nature. They understood various concepts from perspective\, light\, shadow\, proportion\, sketching\, to painting.\nConfidence Building: The main thing that every student gained was confidence in their visualization skills. They are now capable of capturing a scene\, sketching\, and painting it on their own.\n\nFinal Thoughts on Outdoor Session\n\nOur outdoor sketching sessions came to an end on the last day\, i.e.\, 3rd December 2025. All the sessions were packed with creativity\, fun\, and exploration of new skills\, with a new learning experience for all. \nStudents loved these sessions as they got the chance to sketch and paint the beauty of nature in a warm environment. \nYou can also explore some of our previous outdoor sketching sessions to see how we conduct these classes for the students every year.

SUMMARY:Outdoor Sketching Sessions 2024
DESCRIPTION:At ADMEC Multimedia Institute\, we provide students with interesting sessions to improve their creativity skills and make them think more artistically. All this is to make their paintings and projects look more attractive. Sketching is such an artistic skill that a sketcher can draw his or her imagination as he or she thinks. This is the reason we conduct outdoor sketching sessions every year. \nThrough these special sessions\, our experienced faculty helps students grow and sharpen their skills to become professional designers\, editors\, compositors\, animators\, and artists. These outdoor classes are for all courses students. \nHere’s an overview of the three-day outdoor sketching sessions in 2024\nWe executed a three-day outdoor sessions series for our excellent and charming students this year. All students showed interest in these sessions. \nDay 1: On the first day\, we taught students how to take proper live photos. Our instructors\, Ms. Promila Ma’am\, and Sahil Sir\, helped students click the images at the right angle. Students learned about the various perspectives like one-point\, two-point and three-point. Then they made sketches using shading pencils of the captured images in their ADMEC sketchbooks. \nDay 2: On the second day our instructors taught students about the colouring methods using coloured pencils. This day students converted their sketches into coloured using coloured pencils. \nDay 3: On the last day of this sessions series students worked on acrylic\, water and poster colours to finish their artworks. \nWhat made these Sessions Special?\nOutdoor sketching sessions inspire students to view the world through the eyes of an artist. The open-air environment keeps students’ minds relaxed and calm\, helping them to make their paintings with their whole hearts\, happiness\, and joy. Students learned various methods to create artworks from pencil shading\, colouring to painting using water\, poster and acrylic colours. \nLocation of the Outdoor Sketching Session\nWe chose the district park near Rohini East metro station. It’s a huge and open ground park where students can draw any particular part of the park.  \nWhen did these Sessions Start?\nThe outdoor sessions started on 23 December and ended on 25 December. The total duration of each session was 3 hours. DESCRIPTION:ADMEC Multimedia Institute organizes outdoor art and sketching sessions every year to encourage students to learn human anatomy\, perspective\, still life\, light and shadow\, etc. The study of these important topics helps students improve their overall design sense. Industry demands for the creative minds not the DTP operators thus\, these types of sessions are like the creativity boosters for students and become a must-attend.  \nBy considering the demand of the current industry\, these outdoor sessions can impact the overall growth of students as budding designers\, editors\, compositors\, animators\, artists. \n3 Days Long Art and Sketching Outdoor Sessions 2023\nThis year\, we conducted three sessions for students from various courses and backgrounds\, including graphic design and animation. Every student actively participated in these sessions. \nDay 1: Our instructors\, Ms. Promila Dhandewal and Sahil Sir\, guided the students to capture photos with the right angle\, distance\, perspective\, light\, and shadow. \nDay 2: On the second day\, students started creating artwork based on the captured photos on their canvas and sketchbooks. They drawn the captured pics using different types of pencils for shading and sketches. \nDay 3: Day 3 was full of colors and paints as students started painting with a rainbow of colors\, producing many beautiful artworks. Our instructors\, Promila Mam and Sahil Sir\, assisted students in working with different styles of painting and sketching. \nHow have these sessions helped our students?\n\nWith these sessions\, students learned about live photo capturing by keeping the rule of thirds in mind.\nThe outdoor sessions provided a new learning experience for all the students beyond the classroom.\nActive participants understood the role of perspective in sketching\, painting\, and designing.\nThe sessions helped learners understand the role of light and shadow.\nAnimation courses’ students experienced real-life human anatomy sketching under expert guidance. They could applied their the concepts of human anatomy learnt during the classroom sessions while participating in the art and sketching outdoor sessions.\n\nWhat was the location decided for the sessions?\nThe location chosen for the sessions was Rohini District Park\, a large area suitable for exploring concepts like perspective\, human anatomy\, still life\, live sketching\, etc. \nWhen did these sessions start?\nThe sessions started on 4th December and concluded on 6th December\, leaving students with fun learning experiences and lasting memories. \nIn conclusion\, the Art and Sketching Outdoor Sessions 2023 not only enriched the students’ artistic skills but also fostered a holistic learning environment. SUMMARY:Art & Sketching Outdoor Sessions 2022
DESCRIPTION:For an artist\, sketching is a medium to show what he sees. For a designer\, it is a medium to record concepts quickly to bring out the solution related to design problem. As an animator\, you can illustrate your own characters on paper and come up with a multitude of different more characters just in a short period of time. Even to plan a website layout; putting initial concepts on paper is the way to start to decide which of the ideas are good to go. \nThus\, sketching as a skill is as important as digital computer skills for every designer. To add this sense of sketching into the minds of our students; we had conducted 3 days long art and sketching sessions which were started from December 5th to 7th. \nHow did these art and sketching outdoor sessions help students?\nAs mentioned above\, sketching is an essential skill to have in the skill-set of every designer and by conducting these types of sessions our art teacher Mrs. Promila Dhanderwal explained the students that what approach they should follow while creating live sketches. Not only this she also taught them the accurate style to sketch contrasting perspective drawings. Students also understood how they have to work on the key points related to human anatomy. \nUnder these sessions students had experimented a lot to scribble different visuals on their sketchbooks by following the concepts taught by their art teacher. They also studied how to draw an object from different perspective. Students were free to choose any medium of drawing and painting. \nSome of the main topics of these sessions were: perspective study\, human anatomy\, live sketching\, sculpture study\, etc. \nAll the students had brought sweet memories in their mind as well as sketchbooks. Not only this\, with the end of these art and sketching outdoor sessions 2022\, we saw smiles on the faces of our students.
