Rangoli is something which anyone can relate to as they denote two important things – Colours, which everyone loves and Festivities, which everyone enjoys with their families. Be it a family function or a festival, a Rangoli can lift the mood of everyone. During festivals it is considered a tradition to make Rangoli throughout India.

Like every year, ADMEC organized Rangoli Competition on 28th October 2016 to celebrate the festival of lights, Diwali. The ADMEC Multimedia Institute event saw active participation from all the students. The motive behind such competitions is to make students understand the importance of festivals in a fun and creative way which will utilize their imaginative skills. It will also help them showcase their unique ideas with the correct use of color combination.

Rangoli Design Competition Teams:

This year teams were divided into 6 groups having 14 members in each team as mentioned below:

• Team Management
• File Management/ Report
• Verbal Presentation using Power Point Presentation
• Look and feel of the Design
• Selection of topic and how well it is represented
• Task completed within the given timeframe
• Neatness in Rangoli Designs
• No part of the Rangoli should be prepared before arriving at the competition.
• Right usage of color combination.
• Originality/Creativity in design.
• Utilization of space
