Online Communities

The future of any nation depends upon the youth of that country. And when to talk about a country like India, then here it has a very large number of population. Here we have people form every background, caste, color, creed, religion etc. and people’s social life is more important than personal and professional life. In a country like India it’s a very easy to get your work done and that is possible if u have good contacts. Getting in touch with people can really help you in many ways. And internet is also contributing a lot in increasing the social network of the people. As there are many social networking website on internet where users can go and make their free account.

They just have to register with that website and can make their account. The list includes websites such as Orkut.com, Yaari.com, FaceBook.com; Twitter.com etc… these websites are very popular and famous among the people and youngsters especially. You can make your free account and can add your details and information. These details may include your personal information as well as your professional details. But not only this, you can also search; add your friends and relatives in your profile.

You can make friends list and you can also send and receive messages from them. There are also many online communities about many different topics and agendas. They are also known as forums. One can join those communities and forum depending upon one’s respective area of interest. There you can discuss and share new things. They usually prove a very good way of education and information as everyone can share his/her experiences and thoughts. Apart from this there are also many applications on these websites.

These applications may include games and other stuff which serves the purpose of gaming, entertainment etc… One can also add his/her photographs and videos too in their respective accounts for their friends to see. All the accounts are password protected but still the cyber crime has also affected it by hacking and spy wares etc…There are also some negative aspects of these online communities. There are some unauthorized ways by which some unknown person can open and see you profile details. It can be very risky as some body can defame you by using your name badly.

Children must maintain a distance from it, till a certain age group as it may be very early for them to have an account of any of the social networking site before the right time. So, these online communities are like really good as they help you to meet old friends and increase your social network. But, at the same time it’s risky too.
